We are a small 2 partner firm founded by Nigel Glassey who has been in practice for 36 years.

We specialise in conveyancing of both domestic and commercial property including leases for shops and offices. We aim to provide a personal service so that all your queries are answered by the person actually dealing with the transaction.

We do like to see you personally, particularly before you sign any contract or lease which is legally binding. It is surprising how often a meeting will bring out a problem e.g. boundaries shown on plans do not correspond with what your inspection of the property has shown on the ground.

We can get such problems sorted out before committing to a sale or a purchase.

We act for people buying and selling all over the country, but chiefly in South Manchester and Cheshire.

      Meet the team

      NIGEL GLASSEY

      Partner

      Nigel qualified as a Solicitor in March 1969 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of conveyancing transactions, including both residential and commercial Leases.

      In 2019 Nigel received congratulations from the President of The Law Society on completing 50 continuous years in private practice.

      SHERYL STEVENSON

      Partner

      Sheryl started her legal career as an Office Junior in 1989.

      Having been promoted to a Conveyancing Assistant, she studied for a Law Degree on a part time basis and qualified as a Solicitor in January 2002.

      Prior to becoming Nigel’s business partner in 2010, they had worked together at another firm.

      HELEN STEWART

      Conveyancing Paralegal

      Helen carries out most of the day to day conduct on our cases and is generally the first point of contact.

      Although Helen is not legally qualified, she has over twenty years’ of conveyancing experience and all work is carried out under the direct supervision of one of our partners.
